Fix volumetric weight for air
Air freight uses volumetric (chargeable) weight: L×W×H/5000 (cm) or /166 (in). Carrier charges the higher of actual or volumetric.
Common causes
- Using wrong divisor (5000 vs 6000).
- Dimensions in wrong units.
- Rounding errors.
How to fix
- Use 5000 for cm, 166 for inches.
- Use Weight/Volume Validator to compute.
- Compare actual vs volumetric.
